This time, I came to Lujiazui, Shanghai to attend an industry summit and specifically chose to stay at Intercity Shanghai Lujiazui Center. As a high-frequency traveler who travels in the Yangtze River Delta all year round, it is not easy to find a hotel in the core area of Lujiazui that balances cost-effectiveness, convenience, and comfort. After two days of stay, I tested that this hotel completely meets all the core needs of business travel.
The location of the hotel is really pleasant. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to Dongchang Road Station on Line 2, and 10 minutes to reach Lujiazui Subway Station directly. You don't have to take a detour with your luggage. It takes 40 minutes by subway from Shanghai Station to enter the lobby, completely avoiding the ground traffic congestion during the morning rush hour in Lujiazui. When checking in, the front desk learned that I was a business guest attending a summit and took the initiative to upgrade me to a city view room on a higher floor. They also handed me a handwritten commuting tip and marked the walking shortcut to avoid the pedestrian flow on the Lujiazui Circular Overpass. Even the location of the nearby 24-hour printing shop was clearly marked.
The moment I pushed open the door, I was immediately enveloped in a sense of comfort. The simple and modern decoration style has no unnecessary fancy decorations. The spacious and transparent space of about 35 square meters, with a large office desk facing the window and ergonomic chairs that provide a strong sense of support, allows me to sit for two or three hours at the summit presentation PPT without feeling sore in my back. The bedding is the iconic deep sleep spine protection style of intercity brands, with fluffy down pillows that are moderately soft and hard. As someone who travels on business trips all year round, I quickly fell into a deep sleep after getting on the bed. The room was cleaned spotlessly, and the storage shelves by the windows and the top of the door frames, which were prone to dust accumulation, were all clean and there were no hygiene defects found at all.
The most surprising thing is the supporting details. The 24-hour self-service business center allows for printing and binding of summit materials without having to go to an external store. Late at night, if you need to make up for the contract, it can be done in just two minutes downstairs. The self-service laundry room is equipped with a drying and ironing machine. If you accidentally get coffee stains on your formal clothes, they can be washed neatly in half an hour. You won't be impolite when you go to the venue the next day. The breakfast stall in the morning has a wide range of varieties. You can eat the fried chicken, small Wonton and freshly brewed coffee with Shanghai characteristics. If you are in a hurry, you can tell the front desk to pack a portable breakfast so that you can go directly to the subway.
The surrounding travel scenes are extremely comprehensive. You can walk 10 minutes to the core area of Lujiazui CBD. Both Shanghai center and Oriental Pearl TV Tower are within the walking range. After finishing work, you can walk along the riverside trail in the evening, blowing the evening wind of Huangpu River, and the tiredness of the whole day has dissipated by half. It takes only 15 minutes by taxi to get to the Bund, making it very convenient to take a half-hour check-in photo. Friends who come by car also don't have to worry at all. The hotel comes with exclusive underground parking spaces, so you don't have to wander around Lujiazui for half an hour to find a spot.
In the core area of Lujiazui, where every inch of land is precious, finding such a cost-effective hotel that excels in commuting, office, and daily life details is a treasure trove for business trips. Next time I come to Lujiazui to participate in industry events, Intercity Shanghai Lujiazui Center will definitely be my first choice.Show more
